It’s been three months since I last posted, and what a busy three months indeed! I am hoping the end of the year will now start to slow down to actually have time for other things…but we will see! I’m going to go over some (hopefully) upcoming posts I want to write about!
Halloween Horror Nights 2025
Since it was wedding season, I had wanted to get a season pass to Halloween Horror Nights for Matt and I. It has been forever since I had done a pass, and even though this was a weaker year of the event, I feel like we still had a great time! We went with plenty of friends, both celebrating events and just to go and hang out. Fingers crossed that next year’s theme is a stronger year!
Howl-O-Scream 2025
I’m not sure how many times we have done Sea World’s Halloween event, but we did it again! Every year we have a bunch of fun at this event, and I feel like I have more respect since Sea World has less to work with than Universal. Between the scare actors, the decoration and scenery, and the rides, we always have fun here!
Bachelor and Bachelorette Weekend
We actually decided to do our bachelor and bachelorette parties together, and had gotten a great deal on a suite at Universal Studios Dockside! Our friends and family came out, and we all got to celebrate at HHN one night and City Walk the next!
Wedding
The big day had finally come and gone! It was more than perfect, and the two years planning all came together! The week prior didn’t entirely go as planned, and the day before started off less than ideal, but the day of was absolutely wonderful. I keep saying I wish we could redo it just to experience it all over again because it went by so incredibly quick!
A Day to Remember Concert
Last Saturday we ended up going to ADTR at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, FL. We ended up having a good day before the drive, getting some brunch at a local Columbian bakery…and then we had to make the two hour drive to Jacksonville. We got there, and had dinner at Panda Express, thinking we had enough time because the last concert we went to up there was smooth sailing. Nope, this was opposite of that. We sat in traffic getting to the venue, all thanks to the (not so lovely) Jacksonville Fair going on! So the parking lot for the concert was completely full, the parking pass lot wasn’t open, it was too late for us to turn around to go to a separate one, and we ended up getting lucky just following everyone and walking a little bit. We did miss the first band that played, which was Stand Atlantic, because of the whole parking situation, but we caught August Burns Red. Parking far away ended up helping us out when we were leaving too, because we were able to just get to our car and go.
